Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ariel Ponc made a huge save. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Luca Rouco advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Ponc made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Joel Gaona hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
