In the 11th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cafu Negri. The PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cafu Negri should have stopped the shot. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cafu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafu Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of the match. Cafu Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 68th minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's goalkeeper Cafu Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cafu Negri firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 91st minute, Peru's Milagros Fraga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
