In the 3rd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wei Chuan Xuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Wei Chuan Xuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Figueroa in the 22nd minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Figueroa in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Delmiro Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Esportivo Saudade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Figueroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wei Chuan Xuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Lucas Villanueva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmiro Figueroa to make the kick off. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Figueroa in the 51st minute of play. Delmiro Figueroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Wei Chuan Xuan however easily saved by the left post. Wei Chuan Xuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wei Chuan Xuan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Villanueva in the 90th minute of play. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Clube Esportivo Saudade to leave the ground with a draw.
