Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Göran Olofsson kicked off to start the match. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Göran Olofsson scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Ivan Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th match minute, FC Snipers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Nässén to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Göran Olofsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Göran Olofsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Emanuel Brandin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A well placed Göran Olofsson short distance shot in the 29th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Göran Olofsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Göran Olofssons short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Göran Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Svensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Snipers getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Martin Hedlund hit a great ball. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Brandin having to interfere. Ingvar Vedholm hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Emanuel Brandin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jörn Giöck hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Eliseo Noboa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Brandin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 75th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Olofsson in the 76th minute of play. If Göran Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Göran Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Greger Kullgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Snipers's supporters rose to their feet, but Greger Kullgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Snipers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
