Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, The White Star WK's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Peng Xu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, The White Star WK's Rafal Zagrobelny ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 20 played minutes The White Star WK got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Frantzes. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Rafal Zagrobelny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peng Xu having to interfere. In the 35th minute The White Star WK were awarded a corner. Edmund Kiszkiel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Edmund Kiszkiel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. Francisco Carballar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peng Xu having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peng Xu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Zagrobelny in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmund Kiszkiel was slow to take the kick. During this time The White Star WK's players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Camilo Canor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oso Biñuela in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Orlando Casaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peng Xu having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the game Ludomil Kilarski made a throw-in which Oso Biñuela played forward. The White Star WK's Peng Xu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 87th minute of play. Rafal Zagrobelny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Oso Biñuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Peng Xu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. The White Star WK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
