Gottfrid Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Ertan Duman sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Baker didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
