Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Wei Chuan Xuan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Figueroa in the 15th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wei Chuan Xuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Villanueva came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Zabalo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of Clube Esportivo Saudade booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Wei Chuan Xuan in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 minutes of play, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Delmiro Figueroa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Delmiro Figueroa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Esportivo Saudade's zone, Facundo Cadaval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wei Chuan Xuan came out of the goal and Facundo Cadaval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, one of Mexico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 44th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Figueroa in the 47th minute of play. The Mexico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clube Esportivo Saudade were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmiro Figueroa to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Lucas Villanueva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wei Chuan Xuan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Figueroa in the 56th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lucas Villanueva sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Clube Esportivo Saudade's Lucas Villanueva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wei Chuan Xuan having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Figueroa in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Lucas Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Wei Chuan Xuan. Clube Esportivo Saudade's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. A collision led to Clube Esportivo Saudade getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lucas Villanueva hit a great ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clube Esportivo Saudade were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerico Palomar took the corner. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Villanueva in the 86th minute of the match. When Clube Esportivo Saudade's Rafa Morado in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wei Chuan Xuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when Clube Esportivo Saudade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ander Lastras didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wei Chuan Xuan was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The Clube Esportivo Saudade supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clube Esportivo Saudade would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
