If Unai Sócrates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Unai Sócrates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Radamel Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Unai Sócrates in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 26th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Radamel Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Unai Sócrates stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner was taken by Monty Rogers in the 72nd minute. 79 minutes in the game Raphael Moore did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sam Campbell. Raphael Moore made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sam Campbell however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 85th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
