An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play forced Aguias Praianas FC's goalkeeper Cosme Pere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Pere having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Almeida in the 21st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than Aguias Praianas FC and deserved their victory. The Aguias Praianas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
