Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Salvino came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 5 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 8 played minutes PLUMIN got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Brion. Higinio Eguzki hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Massó having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Salvino in the 16th minute of the match. When PLUMIN's Cirilo Salvino in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 26th minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Massó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Ferrer in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Antonio Orlan could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. Rodrigo Massó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Cirilo Salvino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute, Cirilo Salvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Cirilo Salvino made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodrigo Massó. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Massó having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, PLUMIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Brion to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 69 minutes, Simon Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Simon Ferrer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Simon Ferrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Massó having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Rodrigo Massó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PLUMIN throughout the match.
