When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Angus FC's Serafino Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 16th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Jax was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Serafino Jax could save by the left post. A collision led to Angus FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gabriel Remigio hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Serafino Jax firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 28th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Serafino Jax was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Serafino Jax made a huge save. 35 minutes into the game, Valentin Miro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Angus FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Valentin Miro hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Angus FC's Serafino Jax was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafino Jax prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 played minutes Angus FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Tabor. Niceto Abreu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. After 72 played minutes Angus FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Tabor. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafino Jax prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Angus FC! Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Serafino Jax didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador.
