After a rather tough play, Colombia's Luis Cazalla got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Zarco Lameiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademar Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ademar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Andreas Pirovolakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube Patrício's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. Andreas Pirovolakis hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Orlando Tafalla hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Clube Patrício's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarco Lameiras in the 38th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Sporting Clube Patrício was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Portugal to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarco Lameiras in the 55th minute of play. Ademar Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Patrício from getting a goal against them. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 78th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Portugal in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Abram Secada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ademar Azevedo was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademar Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube Patrício's Jiang Gang. But to his dismay, Jiang Gang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
