After 7 played minutes FC Wallersdorf got a freekick which was hit by Ye Wei Si. After a rather tough play, FC Wallersdorf's Ole Fröhlich got a free kick in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoltán Varga got free with Julio Vera in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho's late challenge caught a FC Wallersdorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play forced FC Wallersdorf's goalkeeper Elia Bobadilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elia Bobadilla came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Bobadilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Andres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Elia Bobadilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Wallersdorf's Elia Bobadilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Bobadilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elia Bobadilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elia Bobadilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 42 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zoltán Varga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bruno Andres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Andres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Bruno Andres slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 46th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After 65 played minutes FC Wallersdorf got a freekick which was hit by Harald Fritz. Bruno Andres took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Zoltán Varga took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. After 84 minutes FC Wallersdorf's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Elia Bobadilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. In the 96th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador played a much better game than FC Wallersdorf and deserved their victory. The FC Wallersdorf players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
