Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Norberg. Worst Team Ever's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Venezuela's attentive Jonathan Venegas managed to snatch the ball when József Murai made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stor Klack in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 13th minute. Stor Klack scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaias Eguerdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Stor Klack ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 33 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Norberg. In the 36th match minute, Worst Team Ever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by József Murai to maneuver through the defense. Evert Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Stor Klack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Worst Team Ever's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alf Hamberg in the 41st minute. Alf Hamberg made a great header on Worst Team Ever's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Eguerdi was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Isaias Eguerdi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Eguerdi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute of the game József Murai made a throw-in which Stor Klack played forward. 79 minutes into the game, Isaias Eguerdi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Isaias Eguerdi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. 83 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Worst Team Ever the free kick. After 83 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alf Hamberg. 86 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Evert Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaias Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Norberg. Worst Team Ever's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
