Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kevin Ööpik kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Kevin Ööpik tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 9th minute of play forced Kutsikad's goalkeeper Daniel Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Daniel Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Olen Äss came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silver Oks in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Silver Oks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Silver Oks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Daniel Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Buffon saved Kutsikad from getting behind. In the 37th minute Kevin Ööpik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Kutsikad's Kevin Ööpik made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Kutsikad getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Remigiusz Galaska hit a great ball. Daniel Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 45th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Kutsikad's Daniel Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Kutsikad from getting a goal against them. In the 59th match minute, Kutsikad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Elorri to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Daniel Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octave Questel in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Kutsikad booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kutsikad's Octave Questel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
