The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 13 played minutes Real Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Thorne. Real Chelsea's Comunardo Prandini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Real Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Marty Harland. Tomas Illescas didn't quite understand what happened when in the 21 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Uno Klemensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Timothy Thorne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Uno Klemensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Timothy Thorne notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Gus Weir tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Chelsea's Gus Weir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 41 minutes of play. In the 45th minute, Stu Bullock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gus Weir in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Rigoberto Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Real Chelsea players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Malcolm Adcock, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Real Chelsea getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Uno Klemensson hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Kelvin Oldham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 70th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Prandini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timothy Thorne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Chelsea made a substitution. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute Tyler Tolley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Tyler Tolley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tyler Tolley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Real Chelsea walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
