Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alberto Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Villadeatese FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Cameli. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dino Roberto. Villadeatese FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Dino Gazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Adriano Zoccolo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Villadeatese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Dino Roberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Antonio Arias fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Antonio Arias a yellow card for diving instead. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Alberto Maranhense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dino Gazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Roberto having to interfere. Dino Gazza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dino Gazza was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Villadeatese FC's Arrigo Clementi got a free kick in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Dino Roberto in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Villadeatese FC's Amerigo Pedroni got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Villadeatese FC. Villadeatese FC's Dino Roberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Gazza in the 62nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Gazza came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Roberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Clementi in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Villadeatese FC's Ernesto Scevola was substituted for Dino Gazza. Villadeatese FC's Roberto Piccoli was substituted for Bernardo Cameli. After 82 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Zabal Villanueva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Roberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Villadeatese FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Piccoli. Daniel Zorita, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 96th minute, Corrado Apolloni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villadeatese FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
