Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geovanildo Luis started the match with the kick off. Geovanildo Luis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanildo Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ronaldinho Gaucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haji Sarap came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Abram Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Abram Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Orlando Tafalla fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Orlando Tafalla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. After 41 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Drew Zaelani who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Drew Zaelani almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 43rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Indiano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With an all-out effort, Colombia's Haji Sarap threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanildo Luis to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Tomás Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovanildo Luis struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joinville City - FSCMZ. Joinville City - FSCMZ's João Francisco Arce was substituted for Ronaldinho Gaucho. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Horácio Abraão was substituted for Bernardino Llorenc. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haji Sarap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Adhemar Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Abram Secada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Haji Sarap. Abram Secada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Santos in the 71st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Tomé Neto got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Adhemar Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Abraão in the 84th minute of play. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Adhemar Santos sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Horácio Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Kevin Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Haji Sarap made a huge save.
