Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Radomil Bielatowicz started the match with the kick off. Witalis Chmielecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Witalis Chmielecki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play forced MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalkeeper Witalis Chmielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Witalis Chmielecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Niek Wander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Artur Rakiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niek Wanders short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Witalis Chmielecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MZKS Sharks Gdynia getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Güntekin Enginer hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Witalis Chmielecki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Witalis Chmielecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by MZKS Sharks Gdynia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Remigiusz Cempa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Witalis Chmielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MZKS Sharks Gdynia the free kick. 52 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Julio Vera had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Güntekin Enginer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play forced MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalkeeper Witalis Chmielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 minutes, Radomil Bielatowicz made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Artur Rakiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZKS Sharks Gdynia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Witalis Chmielecki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save MZKS Sharks Gdynia from getting a goal against them. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Radomil Bielatowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Rakiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Witalis Chmielecki made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witalis Chmielecki having to interfere. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but MZKS Sharks Gdynia were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
