Ermanno Testi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alberto Tafalla sped through Villadeatese FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dino Roberto. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Dino Gazza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Alvaro Manzi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Villadeatese FC made a substitution.
