Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Charly Rusterholz took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacco Hekman. After 5 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rick de Zee who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Rick de Zee almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Arnout Arends's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rondo's Orestis Lazarou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Charly Rusterholz came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rondo's Charly Rusterholz got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orestis Lazarou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Arnout Arends shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Charly Rusterholz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnout Arends got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rondo's goalkeeper Orestis Lazarou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rick de Zee was slow to take the kick. During this time Rondo's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Arnout Arends. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charly Rusterholz in the 63rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camilo Gaos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camilo Gaos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Rondo. Rick de Zee stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 3-0. In the 71st minute Jacco Hekman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Rafael Braamhaar with Roeland Hoogendorp as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charly Rusterholz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnout Arends in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rondo's Orestis Lazarou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 89th minute of play. Arnout Arends received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Rondo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
