Kunnar Leks made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Meerits showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of play forced FC Hiiu Pallurid's goalkeeper Marko Meerits to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marko Meerits. FC Hiiu Pallurid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Vytautas Kalasiūnas came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Meerits saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Tavo Oidra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 23 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Merdan Abesadze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th minute of the match FC Hiiu Pallurid got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Helari Naaber ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Hiiu Pallurid's Helari Naaber was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vytautas Kalasiūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hiiu Pallurid's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Meerits came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Merdan Abesadze was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Merdan Abesadze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Merdan Abesadze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 54 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. Vytautas Kalasiūnas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marko Meerits made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Vytautas Kalasiūnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hiiu Pallurid's supporters rose to their feet, but Vytautas Kalasiūnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Kunnar Leks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Marko Meerits managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Hiiu Pallurid's Merdan Abesadze. But to his dismay, Merdan Abesadze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Vytautas Kalasiūnas struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hiiu Pallurid. Merdan Abesadze scored 4-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Marko Meerits didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Meerits having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 89th minute. Merdan Abesadze kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, FC Hiiu Pallurid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kunnar Leks to maneuver through the defense.
