Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willem-Jan Hollanders having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Vranken came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thananiti Cheewawipat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Willem-Jan Hollanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Willem-Jan Hollanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Willem-Jan Hollanders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Willem-Jan Hollanders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 17th minute when Dany-Adams Coeckelberghs elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Willem-Jan Hollanders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 21st minute of the match. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willem-Jan Hollanders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willem-Jan Hollanders was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, Thananiti Cheewawipat lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Julio Vera. After having played for 35 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Willem-Jan Hollanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thananiti Cheewawipat succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 38th playminute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Willem-Jan Hollanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. With a little luck, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Willem-Jan Hollanders got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Thananiti Cheewawipat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Willem-Jan Hollanders proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Les Bistouquettes Bleues from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Vranken in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willem-Jan Hollanders having to make a save. Les Bistouquettes Bleues made a substitution. Arsene Van Hamme replaced Ryan De Werdt. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Willem-Jan Hollanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willem-Jan Hollanders made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Creemers in the 78th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thananiti Cheewawipat in the 81st minute of play. Willem-Jan Hollanders made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Oihan De Toro was substituted for Tim Vranken. In the 85th match minute, Les Bistouquettes Bleues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georges Grün to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goalkeeper Willem-Jan Hollanders, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Willem-Jan Hollanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Willem-Jan Hollanders quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thananiti Cheewawipat in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 94th minute. Oihan De Toro took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. The Les Bistouquettes Bleues support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
