Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Niklas Dalkvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efrain Maria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 21st minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Pepillo in the 22nd minute of play. Niklas Dalkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Maria having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sacit Refik in the 28th minute of play. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Legionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Efrain Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Pepillo in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Haroldo Abadie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Gladiadores Legionarios's Ambrosio Gasteiz was substituted for Generoso Cresitobalo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Pepillo to make the kick off. Efrain Maria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute of play forced Gladiadores Legionarios's goalkeeper Efrain Maria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Dalkvist in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Dalkvist came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Efrain Maria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niklas Dalkvist struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gladiadores Legionarios. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efrain Maria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Efrain Maria made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Dalkvist came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Maria having to interfere. Gladiadores Legionarios made a substitution. Bernardino Orzaize replaced Ermegildo Calvet. Sacit Refik kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gladiadores Legionarios.
