Derman Soysaldı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Derman Soysaldı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Ovidio Argina got a free kick in the 9th minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Mata in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Boniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luz Tejedor didn't quite understand what happened when in the 15 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 18thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Derman Soysaldı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matteo Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matteo Mata in the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Derman Soysaldı. The ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Derman Soysaldı should have stopped the shot. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matteo Mata in the 33rd minute of play. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Caroll Baskin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonso Berganza, made in the 37th minute of the game. Caroll Baskin made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Anton Scheupach kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Matteo Mata made the kick off in the second half. Derman Soysaldı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With an all-out effort, Peru's Derman Soysaldı threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Derman Soysaldı successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 80 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. In the 82nd minute, Matteo Mata made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. A sloppy throw-in by Gürkan Gurko in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. When Rafael Gallo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Gallo couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute Mustafa Yaşar Recai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
