Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Todor Mitrashkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nejat Bahçeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Resul Türev who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Resul Türev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Todor Mitrashkov's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes Aslangücü got a freekick which was hit by Sertaç Oytunç. Berkem İnan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Todor Mitrashkov came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Todor Mitrashkov sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Aslangücü's Tayfur Demir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Aslangücü from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todor Mitrashkov in the 89th minute of the match.
