Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 7 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. If Tadeo Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Quilino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 17thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Loco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonardo Loco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 22nd minute, Jonas Bilintx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeo Quilino went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Rosendo Montel kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Matorrales's goalie prevented a goal. After 52 played minutes Atlético Matorrales got a freekick which was hit by Diego Leocadio. Atlético Matorrales's Jonas Bilintx quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 56th minute of the game. Leonardo Loco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tadeo Quilino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Quilino in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tadeo Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Severiano Ebardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Matorrales's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Ebardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Loco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Tadeo Quilino struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Matorrales. The supporters of Atlético Matorrales booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Tadeo Quilino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlético Matorrales fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Anastasio Caton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlético Matorrales had played much better football throughout.
