Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaud Konieczny. 5 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ludomil Kajdasz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Arnaud Konieczny sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Ludomil Kajdasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Ludomil Kajdasz. Herblay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Arnaud Konieczny's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ludomil Kajdasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes of play, Herblay's Arnaud Konieczny made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute Herblay were awarded a corner. Dimitri Bougault went to the cornerflag to take it. Herblay's Dimitri Bougault was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ludomil Kajdasz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludomil Kajdasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Arnaud Konieczny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Holger Duusgaard hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Herblay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonin Dagorne in the 59th minute of play. Sylvain Missonnier charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sylvain Missonnier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ludomil Kajdasz had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Konieczny came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Arnaud Konieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Felix Montenegro advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-3 in the 76th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Arnaud Konieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Antonin Dagorne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ludomil Kajdasz made a huge save. When Herblay's Antonin Dagorne in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute of the match Herblay got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dimitri Bougault ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Herblay's Dimitri Bougault to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Herblay throughout the match.
