Jose Carita hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The supporters of TeamSystem booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Arda Göksel Usalan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TeamSystem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arda Göksel Usalan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robbin van Persie took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hasan Ceceli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 33 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. In the 35th minute Robbin van Persie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match, Robbin van Persie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 39th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. Aktuğ Akdiken hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. TeamSystem's Arda Göksel Usalan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jose Carita, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Hasan Ceceli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbin van Persie to make the kick off. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. In the 51st match minute, TeamSystem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aktuğ Akdiken to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Robbin van Persie came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbin van Persie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hasan Ceceli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 59th minute of play. If Robbin van Persie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute of the match Arda Göksel Usalan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robbin van Persie struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TeamSystem. Pablo Galsino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. With a little luck, TeamSystem's Hasan Ceceli got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robbin van Persie took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 88th minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, TeamSystem's goalkeeper Hasan Ceceli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. TeamSystem were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Panama for a fine match.
