Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frans Toussain kicked off to start the match. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 35 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the f.c. sKRotone players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 36th minute. Frans Toussain scored 6-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, f.c. sKRotone's Armando Vasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when f.c. sKRotone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Gagliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vennard Sundoro struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for f.c. sKRotone. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off.
