Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Satordi. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jesus Satordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Daniel Zorita sped through Elizabeth Three Lions FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesus Satordi. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Satordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 minutes Elizabeth Three Lions FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Felix Montes made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Jesus Satordi managed to reach the ball for a save. Jesus Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Jesus Satordi managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Satordi having to interfere. Jesus Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Satordi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jesus Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elizabeth Three Lions FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Danny Ings could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Jesus Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Scholten in the 40th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Elizabeth Three Lions FC made a substitution. Alastair Howson replaced Louis Lobb. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Scholten to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cvetin Luković in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Scholten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Elizabeth Three Lions FC were awarded a corner. Cvetin Luković went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Cvetin Luković to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Jesus Satordi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Ings in the 97th minute of the match.
