Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mantorp's Valdemar Hurtig suffered a sore thigh after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Alex Chicote's late challenge caught a Mantorp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Lundqvist got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bernt Kihlberg came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Mantorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Kihlberg couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Anders Olofsson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Mantorp were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evert Söderberg took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Gustaf Wennerlund drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Venezuela's goalkeeper. 36 minutes into the game, Bernt Kihlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bernt Kihlberg made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mantorp's Gabriel Blom got a free kick in the 51st minute. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Bernt Kihlberg sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Olof Gummeson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Bernt Kihlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Bernt Kihlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Kihlberg in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Anders Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Mantorp got a freekick which was hit by Anders Olofsson. After a rather tough play, Mantorp's Billy Fågel got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Kihlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Kihlberg came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Bernt Kihlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sven-Olof Gummeson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Kihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mantorp fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
