Ryan Portanares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Ryan Portanares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Angelo Boni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Angelo Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Farafulla FC's Ryan Portanares got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Behçet Alp tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Ceci got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Alfieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Behçet Alp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Angelo Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Boni having to make a save. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Boni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelo Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Behçet Alp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Behçet Alp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0.

In the 52nd minute, Andriy Shevchenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Farafulla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a rather tough play, Farafulla FC's Bruce Campbell got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 60 played minutes Farafulla FC got a freekick which was hit by Behçet Alp. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Boni having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Behçet Alp came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Portanares in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behçet Alp in the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Farafulla FC's Andriy Shevchenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Angelo Boni in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behçet Alp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Behçet Alp went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Portanares in the 90th minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play, Farafulla FC's Andriy Shevchenko made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Farafulla FC had played much better football throughout.
