Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marin Ciprian took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Alianza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Orkatz Remolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Júnior Arruda in the 21 minute of the game. Orkatz Remolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza FC's goalkeeper Orkatz Remolino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Marin Ciprian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orkatz Remolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play. Orkatz Remolino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 32nd minute of the match. Marin Ciprian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Alianza FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anselmo Greña in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marin Ciprian in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Marin Ciprian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. The supporters of Peru booed when Alianza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Hreapcă didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Júnior Arruda in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Milagros Fraga. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orkatz Remolino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Eliseo Mina in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alianza FC's Sorin Hreapcă. César Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. César Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when César Domingues came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orkatz Remolino stood somewhat misplaced when Luz Tejedor came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 75 minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. César Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonny Murray kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
