Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Esteco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Esteco's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteco's Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Esteco's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jiří Petera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 28th minute of play forced Esteco's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Robert Perfumo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Esteco's Jiří Petera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esteco's Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Quique Wolf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esteco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Esteco getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Quique Wolf hit a great ball. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Oliverios in the 61st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 63rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Esteco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Camilo Gisbert's late challenge caught a Esteco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, Esteco's Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 77th minute Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteco's Celedonio Oliverios got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celedonio Oliverios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Quique Wolf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Esteco's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jiří Petera came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
