Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roni Coryn took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bob Leerbels got free with Julio Vera in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Leo Dauwen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 7 in the game by Bob Leerbels from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bob Leerbels was slow to take the kick. During this time Bacardi FC's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roni Coryn in the 14th minute of play. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Dauwen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Roni Coryn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Dauwen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roni Coryn in the 22nd minute of the match. Arnoud Van Gestel hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Leo Dauwen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jimmy Wiklund fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacardi FC's protests and gave Jimmy Wiklund a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bacardi FC! In the 45th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Dauwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Torsten Åkesson hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Dauwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Roni Coryn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Roni Coryn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 played minutes Bacardi FC got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Åkesson. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Leo Dauwen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 67 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Leo Dauwen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Charlie Vercalsteren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Dauwen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roni Coryn in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecuador were furious when Felix Montes was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 80th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Bacardi FC. Roni Coryn stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julio Vera. 2-0. 89 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacardi FC the free kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roni Coryn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Roni Coryn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bacardi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bacardi FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
