After 37 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Er Håland took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Er Håland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Er Håland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Er Håland in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Er Håland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TaTeRo Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. 59 minutes into the match, Er Håland notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Er Håland came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the TaTeRo Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Er Håland couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Dudu in the 69th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Masao Tachibana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Dudu in the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Endrik Halland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TaTeRo Boys's Rony Dudu got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Dudu in the 84th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Rony Dudu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute Endrik Halland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Endrik Halland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Endrik Halland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Michel Neuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
