The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 3rd minute of play forced LA IMPRENTA's goalkeeper Bernardino Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Mark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Bernardino Mark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, LA IMPRENTA's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Bernardino Mark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Bertoni succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 18th playminute. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 55th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Mark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Sepúlveda in the 57th minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardino Mark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 62nd minute. Bernardino Mark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 65th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Mark having to interfere. The supporters of LA IMPRENTA booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save LA IMPRENTA from getting a goal against them. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Bernardino Mark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
