Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Bertoni in the 4th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Bertoni might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Bertoni ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Mark having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, LA IMPRENTA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Bernardino Mark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardino Mark was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Chang Hong came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Sepúlveda in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 46th minute of the match LA IMPRENTA got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Liu Chang Hong ran over to the corner to take the kick. Liu Chang Hong made a great header on LA IMPRENTA's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by LA IMPRENTA's Elpidio Espiridion. But to his dismay, Elpidio Espiridion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elpidio Espiridion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark. Bernardino Mark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Mark saved LA IMPRENTA from getting behind. With a little luck, LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardino Mark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71stth minute of the game Elpidio Espiridion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvaro Loria charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Loria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, LA IMPRENTA's Bernardino Mark got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Mark made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to LA IMPRENTA getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Aaron Duarte hit a great ball. Bernardino Mark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. LA IMPRENTA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LA IMPRENTA's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LA IMPRENTA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Elpidio Espiridion sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Liu Chang Hong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Liu Chang Hong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aaron Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes LA IMPRENTA got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Duarte. The LA IMPRENTA support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
