Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Pochorylo having to interfere. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Christof Cartus scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Christof Cartus sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Pochorylo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christof Cartus scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Tărău, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wieslaw Fink charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wieslaw Fink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to KS Greenpi getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Wieslaw Fink hit a great ball. Wieslaw Fink kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christof Cartus in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Christof Cartus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Christof Cartus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KS Greenpi made a substitution. Deng Kang Kang replaced Christof Cartus. Felix Montes's late challenge caught a KS Greenpi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montes helped the player get up and apologised. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Deng Kang Kang came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Hajder hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Deng Kang Kang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Pochorylo having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but KS Greenpi were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
