In the 4th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Fan Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 4th minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Crouch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Peter Crouch tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 18 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Qin Fan Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Peter Crouch came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the ZORZAL01 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Crouch couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's Peter Crouch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Qin Fan Sheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as ZORZAL01's Peter Crouch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 after 38 minutes of play. In the 40th minute, Peter Crouch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 2-1. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natan Vercalsteren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Crouch made a kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Crouch in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Crouch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Qin Fan Sheng. That made the score 2-2 in the 65 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Qin Fan Sheng in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Crouch came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Crouch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's Peter Crouch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pavel Nedvěd was slow to take the kick. During this time ZORZAL01's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Pavel Nedvěd almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 88 minutes into the match, Luis Andino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Qin Fan Sheng, 2-4. 92 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's Peter Crouch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute ZORZAL01 were awarded a corner. Pavel Nedvěd went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ZORZAL01's corner Ejner Neinvig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
