Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Ådne Østvang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Øyvind Hegge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suleskard's supporters rose to their feet, but Øyvind Hegge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Thomas Hindenes. 16 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suleskard the free kick. The supporters of Suleskard booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Henrik Rosenlund in the 19th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Espen Melhus kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Joshua Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Suleskard's Tor-Henrik Rosenlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ådne Østvang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Suleskard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Øyvind Hegge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ådne Østvang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

69 minutes into the match, Suleskard's goalkeeper Ådne Østvang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 75 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ådne Østvang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Espen Melhus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Hindenes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Espen Melhus was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 92 played minutes Suleskard got a freekick which was hit by Espen Melhus.
