Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Berganza kicked off to start the match. Brais Lahoz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Tomasini in the 10th minute of play. Luis Escobar scored 2-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Richie Ason ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 19th minute Alfredo Tomasini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Tomasini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ALIANZA 1901's Pancho Tabernilla got a free kick in the 20th minute. Luis Escobar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcos Cotilla firmly grabbed it by the left post. The ALIANZA 1901 fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Richie Ason showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 31 minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Luis Escobar sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Nazario Ispuzua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of ALIANZA 1901:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Panama:s goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Miguel Miralles heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, ALIANZA 1901's Richie Ason got a free kick in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 48th minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Ruy Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Escobar to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Panama booed when ALIANZA 1901 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Ason didn't get a good kick on the ball. 51 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Ruy Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 61 minutes, Luis Escobar made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nazario Ispuzua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Berger having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Escobar came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. Richie Ason charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richie Ason the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Richie Ason hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Escobar went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 97th minute, Alfredo Tomasini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ALIANZA 1901 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
