If Robbin van Persie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 3 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robbin van Persie. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Robbin van Persie came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of TeamSystem booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the TeamSystem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arda Göksel Usalan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Robbin van Persie managed to get in a good position for a shot. TeamSystem's supporters rose to their feet, but Robbin van Persie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Ferhat Akkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Ferhat Akkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robbin van Persie in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Talha Özaltan. It was a well-played corner which Pablo Galsino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 22ndth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TeamSystem's Hasan Ceceli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. TeamSystem's attentive Talha Özaltan managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbin van Persie in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when TeamSystem's Robbin van Persie fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robbin van Persie succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 29th playminute. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arda Göksel Usalan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 34th minute, Costa Rica's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aktuğ Akdiken fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbin van Persie in the 41st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Robbin van Persie made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robbin van Persie made a kick off. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the game, TeamSystem's Robbin van Persie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Hasan Ceceli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Robbin van Persie came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, TeamSystem's goalkeeper Hasan Ceceli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Efrain Moruga's late challenge caught a TeamSystem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of TeamSystem booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6-0 became the score in the 78th minute when Robbin van Persie elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, TeamSystem's Robbin van Persie made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robbin van Persie took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After 93 played minutes TeamSystem got a freekick which was hit by Talha Özaltan. TeamSystem walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
