Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Ferraz in the 5th minute. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Mahieddine Bouzid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. The supporters of Panama booed when Gelmore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Usø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mahieddine Bouzid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Gelmore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Mahieddine Bouzid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Wolfgang Aloph made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Panama booed when Gelmore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunner Ringholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mahieddine Bouzid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 45th minute of the match. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahieddine Bouzid having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 53 played minutes Gelmore FC got a freekick which was hit by Laslo Luginbühl. Mahieddine Bouzid was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Tomas Berganza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Berganza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Tomas Berganza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Gelmore FC's Mahieddine Bouzid got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 minutes Gelmore FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. 65 minutes into the match, Gelmore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Mahieddine Bouzid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelmore FC's Mahieddine Bouzid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Gelmore FC from getting a goal against them. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mahieddine Bouzid, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 74 minutes into the match, Gelmore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Mahieddine Bouzid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahieddine Bouzid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the game, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mahieddine Bouzid made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Manuel Ferraz took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. When Manuel Ferraz fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gelmore FC's protests and gave Manuel Ferraz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gelmore FC's Manuel Ferraz got a free kick in the 96th minute.
