After 14 minutes, Luca Espinar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the 江西天力足球俱乐部 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 宋傲然 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Milagros Cabal charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Milagros Cabal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Honduras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 江西天力足球俱乐部:s goal. Lautaro Navarro had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping 毛沙霖's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 25 minutes of play, 江西天力足球俱乐部's 毛沙霖 made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 陆宇岚, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Honduras's Sebastian Villa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 宋傲然 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Villa's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 宋傲然 saved 江西天力足球俱乐部 from getting behind. 赵彬响 made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. After a rather tough play, 江西天力足球俱乐部's 陶景邦 got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. 宋傲然 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute of the match, Christian Sancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 宋傲然 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind 江西天力足球俱乐部's goalkeeper 宋傲然, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. In the 70th minute, Moises Tafalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 宋傲然. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 74th minute, Moises Tafalla fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luca Espinar scored 1-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 宋傲然, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Villa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 80 minutes into the game, Honduras's Sebastian Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 宋傲然 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 86th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 宋傲然 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 江西天力足球俱乐部 throughout the match.
