Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Føltved in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Vikings of Dania getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Klaus Arthury hit a great ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Henning Føltved tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mario-Nicasio Zanabria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario-Nicasio Zanabria in the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vikings of Dania had played much better football throughout.
