After 3 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the KKP Spasione Kocury players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of KKP Spasione Kocury booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grzegorz Fabiszak made in the 8th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Andrzej Awizo however managed to control. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Herbert Zurawski scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tomas Illescas sped through KKP Spasione Kocury's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lech Rosen. In the 16th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Herbert Zurawski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lech Rosen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Herbert Zurawski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th match minute, KKP Spasione Kocury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Makomaski to maneuver through the defense. Beniamin Jakubiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Rosen having to interfere. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Boleslaw Polakowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KKP Spasione Kocury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boleslaw Polakowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Andrzej Awizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Lech Rosen made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Boleslaw Polakowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Boleslaw Polakowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grzegorz Fabiszak got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Herbert Zurawski. In the 56th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When KKP Spasione Kocury's Herbert Zurawski in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Boleslaw Polakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lech Rosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Zurawski in the 74th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Polakowski in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KKP Spasione Kocury's Grzegorz Fabiszak got a free kick in the 77th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Grzegorz Fabiszak fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KKP Spasione Kocury's protests and gave Grzegorz Fabiszak a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KKP Spasione Kocury's Grzegorz Fabiszak got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
