Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Cveto Novinec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 3rd minute of the match. FC Koper's Cveto Novinec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Koper's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jose Correa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cveto Novinec quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Istok Marinč didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cveto Novinec saved FC Koper from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 30th minute of play forced FC Koper's goalkeeper Cveto Novinec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cveto Novinec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cveto Novinec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manos Labrou in the 38th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wasyl Okropny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Wasyl Okropny tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th match minute, FC Koper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekaitz Sirvent to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Minas Markomichalis to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manos Labrou in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Orlando Sasoin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cveto Novinec. Cveto Novinec yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Orlando Sasoin made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Deny Ornik immediately put the ball in play. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Okropny came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Istok Marinč hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Cveto Novinec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Minas Markomichalis in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Minas Markomichalis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Koper fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Orlando Sasoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cveto Novinec was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 88 minute of play. FC Koper's Istok Marinč got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Istok Marinč off the ground. Istok Marinč kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, FC Koper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adin Lokan to maneuver through the defense.
