Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Francisco Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, White Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Máximo Azeredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. White Eagles FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gez Eyres short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Alberto Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Alberto Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of White Eagles FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Matty Robson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Gez Eyre came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Matty Robson sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gez Eyre in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. After 36 minutes, Matty Robson made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Matty Robson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 43rd minute of play forced White Eagles FC's goalkeeper Máximo Azeredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Máximo Azeredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gez Eyre in the 46th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Gez Eyre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gez Eyre to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute White Eagles FC were awarded a corner. Steve Buckley went to the cornerflag to take it. Alberto Gisbert was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 56th minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Matty Robson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes, Jorge Sainz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the White Eagles FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The White Eagles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of Uruguay booed when White Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Buckley didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Camilo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gez Eyre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matty Robson in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, Eddie Cartwright hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th match minute, White Eagles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey Barratt to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Simon Heath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Cazalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
